Product Description
CRAFT Hand Bundle — ROBOTIS Actuator Package
The CRAFT Hand Bundle provides the ROBOTIS hardware components required to build the CRAFT Hand — a compact, tendon-driven anthropomorphic robotic hand designed for dexterous manipulation, robotics research, teleoperation, reinforcement learning, and advanced robotic grasping experiments.
Built around DYNAMIXEL XL330 smart actuators, the CRAFT Hand combines lightweight mechanical design, articulated multi-finger motion, and open-source accessibility into a flexible development platform for researchers, educators, and makers exploring next-generation robotic manipulation systems.
The hand architecture is inspired by modern tendon-driven robotic hand research platforms commonly used in robot learning, human-like grasping, and compliant manipulation systems. Its compact actuator layout and articulated finger structure make it ideal for applications involving adaptive gripping, object interaction, embodied AI, and custom robotic end-effector development.
Supported Robotics Workflows
The included hardware supports a wide range of robotics workflows including:
- Dexterous robotic hand research
- Teleoperation and motion-retargeting experiments
- ROS / ROS2 robotics development
- AI and reinforcement learning environments
- Human-like grasping and manipulation studies
- Custom gripper and robotic end-effector prototyping
- Educational robotics and mechatronics projects
