Japan's Sensid Robotics Demonstrates Indoor Delivery Robot at Hakodate Hospital in Hokkaido

Japan's Senxeed Robotics announced on the 9th that it will conduct a verification experiment of the indoor delivery robot "GAEMI" at Hakodate Goryokaku Hospital and Hakodate Central Hospital in Hakodate, Hokkaido, in cooperation with Sumitomo Corporation Hokkaido.
Robotis' indoor delivery robot GAEMI can operate elevator buttons using its robotic arm and access secure areas using an IC card. It weighs 64-75 kg and supports a maximum load of 30 kg.
Hakodate Central Hospital and Hakodate Goryokaku Hospital, which are currently conducting indoor delivery robot demonstration experiments, operate 527 and 480 beds, respectively. Hakodate Central Hospital will deploy robots for medicine delivery between the 1st and 8th floors, while Hakodate Goryokaku Hospital will use robots to transport specimens from the 4th floor to the 3rd floor.
