Domestic companies are recognizing robots as the next-generation food source and are rushing to release various products. Previously used only in certain industries such as semiconductors and automobiles, robots are now being utilized in various fields such as preparing and serving food in restaurants, delivery, cleaning, security, healthcare, agriculture, and national defense, increasing their utility. Based on the successful first demonstration test, ROBOTIS is actively cooperating and responding quickly to the government's plan to build an in-complex robot delivery infrastructure. Kim Byeong-su, CEO of ROBOTIS, said, "We will continue to work on commercializing delivery services in apartment environments and developing and expanding the market." Sampo Group, a construction basic materials specialist, has selected an automatic robot parking system as its new business. SP&Mobility, an affiliate of Sampo Group, is accelerating its advance into the domestic market with the 'MP System', an automatic robot parking system that can replace mechanical parking lots. This technology is a system in which robots directly lift and park vehicles, and its major feature is that it prevents safety accidents at the source as there is no need for people to directly park vehicles as before.

According to the robot industry on the 12th, Bodyfriend has been steadily introducing various 'healthcare robots' that incorporate 'robotics technology' since 'Phantom Robo' the year before last. Healthcare robots are characterized by stimulating multiple muscles while performing various movements that are different from existing massage chairs. The new healthcare robot 'Pharaoneo' released by the company last May is evaluated as a product that concentrates Bodyfriend's unique robotics technology. A Bodyfriend official said, "We have improved the perfection as a high-end healthcare robot through faster robo-walking technology and upgraded user interface (UI) and user experience (UX)." "In addition, it has a built-in speaker that we jointly developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, a global top brand in the home speaker field, so it can be used as a 'home speaker' not only to listen to music but also to use online video services (OTT) whether receiving a massage or not."

ROBOTIS, a company specializing in autonomous robots, recently successfully completed a demonstration of its autonomous robot 'GAEMI' for implementing a robot delivery service in domestic apartment complexes. The company, which conducted a field demonstration of robot GAEMI's delivery technology in Sejong City on the 4th, showcased autonomous robot driving in apartment environments, robot learning and mapping in the standard environment of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) apartments, autonomous robot driving, and inter-floor movement tests. GAEMI successfully performed various demonstrations, including a test of boarding and disembarking by directly manipulating elevator buttons using a robot arm, and a test of recognizing and avoiding obstacles.

SP&Mobility is a joint venture with startup Semperem, which possesses automatic robot parking technology. Semperem, which possesses robot parking technology, has been making its mark in overseas markets such as Thailand and the United Arab Emirates since 2017 with this system. The number of vehicles parked overseas with this system reaches 10,000. An official from Sampo Group said, "Thanks to its operational efficiency and convenience, we have recently received inquiries from European markets such as Spain and Hungary."

Small and medium-sized companies that manufacture essential components for robot operation are also increasing their presence. Namuga, a specialized camera module manufacturer, announced that the supply of 3D sensing modules for robot vacuum cleaners is increasing. The core space recognition and obstacle detection technologies of robot vacuum cleaners are implemented in various ways such as lasers, ultrasound, infrared ( IR ), and cameras. Among them, sensing technology using 3D cameras has the advantage of enabling more precise recognition through visual data collection and analysis. According to

the Boston Consulting Group ( BCG ), a global consulting firm, the global robot industry market size is expected to record an average annual growth rate of 20%, from approximately $25 billion in 2020 to $160 billion in 2030.
