According to ROBOTIS' disclosure on the 7th, CEO Kim Byung-soo purchased 6,890 shares of the company's common stock. He purchased a total of 111.68 million won worth of his own stock. He had previously purchased more than 100 million won worth of his own stock in October 2023. With this, CEO Kim's stock holdings increased to 3,511,890 shares.

A ROBOTIS official explained, "CEO Kim's purchase of his own stock this time not only increases shareholder value, but also shows his confidence in the company's growth." He added, "Based on ROBOTIS' unique technological prowess, we plan to more actively target the domestic and international autonomous robot markets."

ROBOTIS is currently looking at the market positively. As regulations on outdoor mobile robots were lifted in accordance with the revision of the Intelligent Robot Act in November of last year, expectations are rising for the expansion of the market utilizing autonomous robots, and in particular, delivery services utilizing outdoor autonomous robots are in the spotlight.

ROBOTIS has been continuously conducting a last-mile delivery service demonstration project utilizing the autonomous robot 'GAEMI' with Lotte Global Logistics, and recently attracted the attention of the industry by successfully completing a demonstration for the implementation of a built-in robot delivery service in an apartment complex with LH (Korea Land and Housing Corporation). In addition, in July, it obtained additional safety certification for an open-type outdoor mobile robot that can be used in places such as separate collection and parks, and plans to introduce a full-scale service. In addition, it conducted a delivery service demonstration test utilizing an autonomous robot at a large hospital in Japan earlier this year, and recently, it was selected as a robot eligible for subsidy support in Japan. Since it is already being used in actual environments such as hotels, hospitals, and offices in Japan, it seems that the green light has been turned on for business expansion.

In Korea, delivery services are being provided consistently in various indoor and outdoor areas such as downtown areas, apartments, campgrounds, hotels and resorts, hospitals, government offices, building management, and parks. In addition, with the initial supply of the autonomous robot 'GAEMI' to LG Electronics scheduled for the second half of this year, sales in the autonomous robot business sector are expected to gradually increase.
